Salmon Teriyaki

Ingredients

- ¾ lb salmon filets
- 1 tsp fresh ginger grated
- 2 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp lime juice
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp wasabi
- ¼ cup mirin or dry sherry
- Healthy Version
- ¾ lb salmon filets
- 1 tsp fresh ginger grated
- 2 Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tsp lime juice
- 2 Tbsp 100% Pure Maple Flakes
- 1 tsp wasabi
- 2 Tbsp mirin or dry sherry
- 2 Tbsp water

- Turn oven to broil. Cut salmon into 1 inch slices lengthwise. Mix all other ingredients in a bowl. Place the salmon strips, skin-side down, in an oven-proof dish and brush with sauce. Broil for 2 minutes. Brush again. Continue alternate broiling and brushing with sauce every two minutes for about 10 minutes.
